Teaching Mannual Class 3rd Kannada- Unit 3 (EVS)

                                                                            Club

On June 25^th we had Inaugurations of the various clubs like , Science, Social science, Maths, Eco, road safety, Health club and Literature club. Every club performed a activity pertaining to their subject. Our headmistress in her inaugural speech invited the students to involve themselves  atleast in one club and grow in their talents. After which every club selected two students each for the responsibility of their own clubs. In the first club meetings objectives were made known to the students.

World Yoga Day

June 21^st was “World Yoga Day” was celebrated. In our Holy Family A.S.B. School Kumbla was celebrated on 22^nd of June. In the morning there was solemn inauguration by our headmistress in her inaugural speech she made clear how important yoga is in everyone’s life.

        Mr.Jayan the teacher of our school taught yoga to the U.P students in three batches. The class teachers collaborated with him students were very much interested, the perfectly did well. Mr. Jayan systematically conducted by giving importance to god to others, to oneself as well as to the creation.

Reading Week

     

  On June 19^th  was the birthday of P.N Panikar which is celebrated  as reading week from June 19 to 26. The reading week was inaugurated on 19^th June during assembly with a short assembly with a short programme of group song, shouting  slogans, highlighting the importance of reading in speeches in different languages.

After which library books were distributed to the class to prepare a  “reading corner “  in every class. The class teachers were requested to conduct different competitions like

·         Essay competitions
·         Quiz competitions
·         Reading competitions
·         Knowing the writers
·         Drawing

  On 26^th we had closing ceremony of it by the exhibition in which product of the student s such as

·         Magazines
·         Reading notes
·         Cartoons
·         Posters
·         Drawings and paintings
·         Selection of best reader in  each class
