Holy
Family aided Senior Basic School was started in 1936, by the Sisters
of Charity Educational Society Mangalore, with the aim of up-liftment
of educationally backward area of Kasaragod district. Since these
years the institution has been developing the standard of education
with the help of the local resource. So far thousands of students are
educated through this institution and settled all over India and
abroad. Now there are 887 children are getting education from I-VII
in Kannada Malayalam and English mediums having 21 divisions.
The
infrastructure of the school is developed through the help of PTA and
well wishers. The School has a good playground which still needs to
be level and improved upon. Computer education and other facilities
are available. Children from all walks of life and cultural
background are in our school. More than 50% of the children are
coming from economically poor background.
